There are currently over 1100 LPG stations in the UK and the network is expanding rapidly with 2000 stations expected by the end of 2005.
Filling up with LPG takes roughly the same amount of time as petrol or diesel. The tank is filled via a specially fitted intake valve next to the petrol filling point. An LPG fuelling hose clips onto each vehicles filler – no other hose will fit, removing the possibility of filling up with the wrong fuel.
Companies such as Shell, BP, Conoco, Jet, Texaco, British Gas, Calor Gas and Flogas
